Important information for Clowbridge reservoir visitors

With over 180 reservoirs helping us to supply over 7 million customers throughout the North West, we need to make sure they’re kept in tip top condition!

Following an inspection of Clowbridge Reservoir, in mid/end October 2015 we will be undertaking work to ensure the reservoir remains capable of safely discharging water during heavy storms.

Visitors to the reservoir and surrounding area need to be aware of the following:

Pay and display car park

As part of the work there is a need to use the ‘pay and display’ car park as a site compound. Therefore the car park will be closed to customers from 12 August 2015 – August 2016.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and will get the car park reopened as soon as we can.

Footpath closure

Construction work centres around the crest and, so that the work can be carried out safely, the footpath has been closed. It is expected to re-open in early 2017.

We’re sorry if this work affects your visit. Our team on site will do all they can to keep the disruption to a minimum.

Don’t worry, our work will not affect your water supply so you can continue to ensure a great cuppa!

If you have any queries about the work at Clowbridge, please call us on 0345 672 3723 and quote project reference number 80030939.
